Matcha No. 80
A powdered Japanese green tea made from the stone-pulverized leaf, this is a standard grade matcha.
Matcha is only available in 2oz or 16oz bags, as each bag is nitrogen flushed and sealed in Japan to maximize the tea's freshness.
Origin: Kakegawa, Shizouka Prefecture, Japan - 2016
Farmer: Otsuka Family
- 1/2 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water
- 160ºF/72ºC (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 5 minutes, and proceed.)
- Whisk with a traditional matcha whisk , or chasen,or stir until the surface froths, about 1 minute.
